The database carriers an exhaustive profile of each & every student. These profiles are so "sharp" that you can even locate the proverbial "needle in the haystack" !

For the first time you have the power to prepare with 10 seconds a "short - list" of the students you wish to interview.

All it takes ins a circle of the mouse on the filter - parameter of your choice.

What is more,  

You have total freedom to select your filter - parameters in any sequence.

You decide which filter is the "most" important to you and CLICK on it first. In a few seconds, the software will present to you the resulting short - list.

Now decide what is "second - most" important to you and click on it. The first short - list is filtered and soon you will see a second shorter list. Keep selecting and clicking on additional filters till you have narrowed down the short - list to what you consider 

desirable / manageable.

Now click on the PEN (Permanent Executive No.) of each student to view his comprehensive profile. Should you  decide to interview him, transfer his name to the "INTERVIEW BASKET". Repeat for all those short - listed. When,finished, fill - up and send us the form "REQUEST FOR NAMES & ADDRESSES OF FINAL YEAR STUDENTS"

If you wish, you may fax the list to us. Within 24 hours, we will send you the names and addresses to you over e - mail (if available) or over fax.

Shall we seriously consider asking the student to fill - in, on a separate page, What he consideres to be his own  SEARCH - PROFILE, according to which, he would prefer to get "searched" ?

Eg."I understand that Personnel Managers, conducting on - line Head - hunt on your Extranet Server, would use certain "Search - parameters" to select those final year students, whom they would like ti nterview. For this purpose I would like you database/ software to profile me as under :

Which gives full data on say 10000 companies.

Till such time, a truncated "contact information" as per enclosed list could also be quite useful.

One more membership directory is received as enclosed. Earlier, some 6/7 have been received. Another 4/5 are expected. All of these will be kept in library pl. feel free to refer & return by evening.

Those which are on a CD (eg. NASS COM) shall be kept with sajida. Kanshik consults these for giving " Industry Names" to the Annual Reports (Employee - data) before handling over to Sajida.

Sheetal uses these to enter into RED - FILE, Company Name - Product – Industry. When this project covers some 5000 Companies, we shall enter this data in our database. Once done, it will help us to carry - out online "searches" as shown in enclosed page.

This would facilitate Head - hunting.

(1) Same company - name may appear in different "directories" (i.e. sources).

This could be because

. A company belongs to more than one "industry" and therefore belongs to more than one Trade - body / Professional  body.

. A company has many branch/ regional offices/ plant locations.

. A company could have, both "products" and "services"

. For same "industry", different directories are giving different "Industry - Names"
