soon as we launch IndiaRecruiter.net.
I
hope the morphing of a plain-text resume into an ImageBuilder — with all
3 Function Profile Graphs — within a matter of few seconds will prove to
be a big draw amongst the jobseekers.
I
hope thousands will register out of curiosity every day!
I
also hope that, having been inspired by their “caterpillar” text resume turning
into a “butterfly” (the ImageBuilder) right in front of their eyes, they would
exclaim (shouting Eureka! Eureka!) and tell their friends!
But
rest assured, that some will come back (like email to you) shouting:
“UNFAIR!
This is not an Apple to Apple comparison!”
They
are right!

You
cannot compare different kinds of fruits in a single basket and claim that Watermelon
is the best!
Why? Because it weighs the most!
It
is no different with executives.

a given Function Profile (say Sales), we are clubbing together a
vast variety of executives, with a wide range of:
- Age
- Experience
- Education
- Designation
Level
- Salary
- etc.
Based
on a combination of the above-mentioned factors / parameters, each will
score —
→ Very low to very high Raw Score,
and consequently,
→ Very low or very high Percentile Score.
This
is quite similar to giving ONE standardized test / question paper to a
set of students whose background ranges from
“SSC
Fail”
to
“PhD Passed”!
Not
fair, you would agree.
But
right now, we have no choice — given a very small starting database of
executives.
But
as this database (of candidates registering on IndiaRecruiter) grows,
we must start drawing graphs / profiles which are restricted to some or other “Sub-Population”
of executives,
all of whom belong to:
- Same
Industry OR
- Same
Designation Level OR
- Same
Age (±5 years) OR
- Same
Experience (±2 years) OR
- Same
Education Level OR
- Any
Sub–Sub Population!
