➤ By now, we have downloaded 2
lakh job-ads.
➤ Assume that, on an average,
each ad got 100 email resumes.
➤ That is 200 lakh email
resumes = 2 crore resumes.
➤ @ ₹5 per resume extraction,
that is ₹10 crore business.
Q: How
much of this potential business can we turn into actual money?
➤ Deepa has found out that
these 2 lakh job-ads were released by 30,000 companies — i.e., an
average of 7 ads per advertiser company.
➤ By the 20:80 rule,
20%
of 30,000 companies = 6,000 companies
must
have, between them, released 80% of 2 lakh ads = 1,60,000 ads.
➤ That gives an average of 25
ads per advertiser.
➤ By the 10:60 rule, …

companies must have (between them) released 1,20,000 job-ads,
i.e., average of 40 ads per advertiser.

“Why
send such an email to all 30,000 advertisers? Why not to the top 10% (i.e.,
3,000) or top 20% (6,000)?”
Reason
is simple:
It
costs same & takes same time to send email to 30,000 companies.
as
it takes to send to 3,000 companies!
(i.e.,
your time — computer may take a few more hours at night – that is all.)
We
know that, as far as actually hooking is concerned, our target group is
top 10% (3,000 companies).
But,
we
