Hi Friends,

Even as I launch this today ( my 80th Birthday ), I realize that there is yet so much to say and do. There is just no time to look back, no time to wonder,"Will anyone read these pages?"

With regards,

Happy Birthday

We launched this feature hoping that Google Spider will crawl / index all the 47 lakh resumes (since no login required / simply clicking of links).

But, considering that it takes several MINUTES to download, just ONE, alphabet-linked page, I don’t think Spider will patiently wait! Humans will never!

But, now, we can speed up the page download (under 3 seconds), by

  • storing this database on Second server
  • Keep “Ready-Made” pages (one for each date)

In attached U/I, I have tried to show how this should work. There will be no “Alphabet-clicking”. All records (hyperlinks) of people born on a given date will get downloaded as ONE SINGLE PAGE, in a fraction of a second!

Of course, if possible, in SEARCH RESULT DISPLAY, we may arrange these links alphabetically.

PLEASE NOTE

Database does NOT have to be up-to-date. You may update it, once in a week or even fortnight.

Incidentally, Can we, on very top of “Review Resume” & “Preview Resume”, write, in big bold letters, (RESUME)

Google Ranks

Today, these were as follows, for our site:

  • Jobs Archive $\rightarrow$ 6 out of 2.29 BILLION
  • Resume Archive $\rightarrow$ 42 out of 169 Million

These have been made possible by enabling Google spider to crawl/index

  • Jobs... at ... {Jobs Archive, Job search by Job Title, IT/Non IT Jobs}
  • Resumes... at ... {Resume Archive (Is this your Resume)}

But,

at “Resume Archive”, spider may NOT be succeeding in drilling down to three steps

and,

loading takes a long time.

So, I asked myself,

“Can we create another page which spider might find easier to crawl/index the resumes and its keywords?”

So,

I came up with enclosed feature / page

“Happy Birthday”

There are $12 \times 31 = 372$ “cells”,

(MONS x DAYS)

Each cell, contains the NUMBER (hyperlink)

Showing candidates whose birthdays are same (faget the year!).

Clicking on any link, will reveal the names of those candidates, where, each name is a hyperlink, clicking which opens his resume (same as in case of “Resume Archive”).

So, Google Spider would be able to index.

Out of fun / curiosity, even casual visitors or registered candidates, may click to see who are these people.

As recently done in case of “Resume Blast” & “Jobs Archive” pages, a progress-bar should be added to indicate

Loading ... ****

With this page, I think, our site should come up on the first page of Google.

Regards
