ENTRY LEVEL JOBS

ENTRY-LEVEL JOBS

Ref: My enclosed note

I have second thoughts re: my suggestion to use "structured" Submit Resume form for Fresh Graduates/College students!

After all, your suggestion to use the same plain-text posting & then Govind’s extraction – even for Fresh Graduates, may be the best option!

Reason is as follows:

Originally, I had thought of only "ENTRY LEVEL" jobs for Fresh Graduates with "NIL" experience.

NOW I have modified that to "ENTRY LEVEL + JUNIOR LEVEL JOBS", requiring up to 4 yr. exp. In which case, even such "junior" candidates would need to fill-in "Career History" section, even if their Current job is their FIRST job – for last 1 year!

Of course, when we use plaintext/extraction process, for a fellow having 1 year exp., then, it is quite possible that FUNCTION–PROFILE graphs may look weird! – simply because there are not enough "keywords" in the resume for plotting.

Anki 30-05-04

ENTRY-LEVEL JOBS

This is further to my yesterday's note. The important conclusions which I have reached in connection with Entry-level jobs are as follows:

From Jobseeker's Angle

SUBMIT RESUME

He should submit his resume in the "structured" format that we use on https://www.google.com/search?q=3piota.com, for Fresh Graduates/College students.

He has no experience nor any "functional" background, nor any "keywords" and therefore, it is a Waste of our time & effort to "EXTRACT" his plain text resume – which contains no "plaintext"! On the other hand, by making him fill up a structured "FORM" online, we are able to capture a lot of useful data about him. Since he is desperate, he would not mind filling-up a structured form.

Again, when such a structured resume is emailed to the corporate job-advertisers, it makes more sense. It could even become "Searchable Database" on advertiser's PC.

POST JOB PREFERENCES

Here, we will permit a fresh graduate (or even a college student) to just pick/select ONE "VACANCY/POSITION NAME" out of a droplist of dozens (arranged alphabetically).

So, he will be sent job-alert SMS  for only ONE position at any given time.

If he wants to receive job-alerts for another position, let him take the trouble of logging in and EDIT his job-preference.

This may not be the most customer-friendly approach. We are trying to simplify our own match-making software's logic/complexity while making it difficult for Fresh Graduates.

But we simply cannot ignore that

There are "millions" of fresh graduates

Each may have "dozens" of job-preferences

They could not care less for Industry/Function/Desig. level/City

So, this multi-option Scenario could throw up billions of permutations & combinations! Our Match-making Software would simply go "NUTS"! An utter chaos/confusion would be guaranteed! There just aren't that many ENTRY-LEVEL jobs in the country to warrant such billions of combinations!!

FROM JOB-ADVERTISER'S ANGLE

Resume Database Search (of Fresh Graduates)

Obviously there is no question of allowing corporates to conduct a resume-search/short-list Candidates and then directly contact them.

If we do, who will click "Apply Online" on job-alert SMS and pay Rs. 2/5 ?

Job Advt Posting

From my yesterday's note, you must have noticed that

  • It is no more only "ENTRY-LEVEL" jobs requiring NO exp. I have also clubbed "JUNIOR-LEVEL" jobs, requiring up to 4 yrs of exp! This widens the base and will enable Corporate Advertisers to post thousands of jobs – instead of just a few hundred, requiring "NIL" experience.

To be able to generate millions of "Job Alert SMS" (– and lakhs of Apply Online clicks), we, most certainly need to have thousands of jobs posted on WWJ.

But, you would have noticed that

as far as getting jobseekers to post their "job-preferences" is concerned, I am keeping Completely SILENT on

Exp (yrs) – MIN

Age (yrs) – MAX

Salary Expected (Rs/Month)

Where (City) he wants to be posted etc. etc.

The Only "Preference" I am giving to a ENTRY LEVEL/JUNIOR LEVEL jobseeker is

POSITION/VACANCY NAME.

So the job-alert that he may receive, may look like

{Voltas / Pune}

{Secretary}

{Age: } 30 { (max)}

{Exp: } 3 { (Min)}

{Edu: Graduate}

{Salary: Rs. } 6000 { / p.m.}

{Source: Direct Posting}

{Ref: WWJ / } 23489

Then, let the jobseeker decide whether he meets the advertised "criteria" or not and whether he wants to click "Apply Online" – even if he does NOT meet the criteria!

And should he apply, even if he does

NOT meet the Criteria, then let the advertiser decide what to do with that resume!

To the Jobseeker we are conveying the following message (although not explicitly):

Dear Jobseeker:

You are looking for the job of a SECRETARY.

And here is such a job! – matching your preference as far as "VACANCY NAME" is concerned. We are committed to deliver to your job-alerts for ALL advertisements carrying this "VACANCY NAME". That is a "Match" that we guarantee.

Now, it is up to you to figure out/decide whether you meet the other "Man-Specs" prescribed in the advt. – and it is up to you to decide, what are your chances of being considered for this vacancy, If you were to apply. This is simply a question of YOUR judgement since you alone know your "skills" and "quality" of your past experience best. It is not for us to sit in judgement on these matters.

If you are in a position to convince the advertiser to overlook his "Man-Specs" and to consider you, why should we artificially "eliminate" your candidature simply because of "Match-Criteria" ?

Of course, as far as the job-advertiser is concerned, we are truthfully prescribing in the SMS all "Man-Specs" prescribed by him – So, he cannot say that we are "mis-representing" his vacancy/position!

The Situation is no different (as far as the advertiser is concerned) from a print-media advt.

The only control an advertiser has is over what he writes (by way of man-specs) in his advt-copy.

But he has absolutely NO CONTROL over who will apply and who will not apply! Aren't we all familiar with a B.Com guy with 2 years exp. applying for the post of GM (Finance)!

And by providing several droplists in JOB-POSTING FORM (e.g. Vacancy Name/City/Exp/Age/Edu/Salary), we are achieving following objectives:

Dramatically reducing any "Typing" on the part of Advertiser (none, to be accurate)

forcing him, to click/select each & every "MAN-SPECS" criteria (by making all fields mandatory) – not giving him any chance to "forget", resulting in a more comprehensive job-alert.

Of course, the "VACANCY/POSITION" droplists would need to be Same/Identical in

Job Posting Form, and

Job Preference Form

although, we will keep-on expanding this list over a period of time.

NOW, the Crucial question:

Since an Entry level job-advt stays "LIVE" for a period of ONE WEEK on WWJ's database, how do we ensure that, same job-advt does not get served as a job-alert SMS to the Same person, more than once?

Besides imposing unnecessary load on our server and the server of the mobile Service provider, this would be very annoying (irritating) to the jobseeker!

We certainly should not expect him to remember

which job advt he has already applied for

and then avoid applying once again.

If we make him apply twice (or more) then

It will be unethical to collect money twice

he would make a fool of himself vis-a-vis the advertiser!

In such a situation, jobseekers would stop using JAM and also spread the "bad word"!

So, we must ensure that same job-advt never gets delivered more than once, to any given jobseeker.

That means keeping track of which advt. got delivered to whom (– and of course when).

In case of MIDDLE/SENIOR LEVEL job-advts, we are, doing the match-making (with given job-preferences) against the job-advt database of last 24 hours only. Then this "temporary" database gets deleted (replaced by a new database) (Of course, it must permanently remain/retain in MASTER DATABASE of job-advts).

So the question of duplicate job-alerts against SAME job-advt does not arise. Unless, of course a Company has posted Same job-advt on more than ONE jobsites, on the SAME DAY! – although our alerts will show different "Sources". But since these alerts go out on the SAME DAY to a given JAM subscriber, he is unlikely to "Apply" twice.

But in case of ENTRY/JUNIOR Level jobs, the job-advts remain live in the database for a whole week – and we are sending out job-alerts DAILY, after due match-making.

The Solution is not too difficult or complicated:

Each job-advt is given a UNIQUE job-ad number. If posted again after a week, it will get a NEW/UNIQUE no.

On a Continuous basis all job-advts will get segregated (into Separate MINI DATABASES) "VACANCY/POSITION" NAME wise.

On a Continuous basis, new job-advts will get "added" to these mini databases and Old (more than one-week old) job-advts will get "deleted" from these mini databases.

And of course, whatever all the job-advts contained in any given MINI DATABASE, at any given time, will contain job-advts, each of which has a UNIQUE ref-no.

And within such a MINI DATABASE, these UNIQUE nos will be arranged in ASCENDING ORDER.

Since any given job-advt can get into one – and only one – MINI DATABASE, there is no question of Same REF. NO. appearing in two mini databases.

A record (database?) will be maintained as to which is the last/latest

REF NO. that has been delivered to a given jobseeker.

During the next "Match-making Event" (next day), only the next 5 or 10, ascending job-advt REF NOs will be served to that jobseeker as job-alerts, to ensure there is no repetition.

The only problem I see in this arrangement is as follows:

Let us say, only 10 job-alerts for a TYPIST position are being delivered to Mr. Patel, daily. But, there is a daily "Addition" of 30 TYPIST job-advts, creating in his mini-database, a daily backlog of \frac{20}{} job-advts.

Then in 30 days, there will be a backlog of job-advts (to be served to Mr. Patel) of 20 \times 30 = 600 "Typist" jobs.

So, at the rate of 10 delivery per day, on 1^{st} Aug-2004, we may still be delivering to Mr. Patel, job-advt posted on 1^{st} June (i.e. 2 months old!).

But remember that, we are deleting all job-advts after ONE week of posting. Job-advts are live only for ONE week.

So, on 1^{st} Aug 2004, the only TYPIST job-advts, still "alive" in the mini-database are those, posted between 25^{th} July & 1^{st} Aug. (or 30 \times 7 = 210 job-advts) days.

And ofcourse, these 210 all have UNIQUE ref. nos and these are also in ascending order.

So, whatever advt are at the bottom of the heap (i.e. posted on 25^{th} July) and still never delivered to Patel, will get picked-up and get delivered, on 1^{st} Aug.

Hence, at no time, Patel is likely to receive job-alert for a job posted earlier than 1 week! Although, it is quite possible that, he will NEVER receive job-alerts against hundreds of TYPIST job-advts getting posted. Because Inflow is much bigger than out-flow of job-alert-dely!

Inflow 30/day outflow 10/day overflow (deleted after 1 week)

So, jobs can "Overflow" (get posted \& get deleted) even before ever reaching Patel! Cannot help!

ENTRY LEVEL JOBS

In my previous notes on this subject, I have emphasized the importance of making available ENTRY LEVEL JOB ALERTS to fresh graduates (No experience) and to college students, on their mobile-phones, under JAM.

The reasons are obvious:

  • At any given point of time, there are perhaps no more than 20,000/30,000 such jobs available (to be filled) in the entire country.
  • On the other hand, there are MILLIONS and MILLIONS of fresh graduates (no exp), who want/need a job, any job, anywhere. And this population is growing at the rate of 1 million each year.

This means,

DEMAND (for jobs) is fantastic (i.e. No. of jobseekers)

but

SUPPLY/AVAILABILITY is negligible

So, it is obvious that this niche market (Entry Level Jobs) is capable of producing millions of "APPLY ONLINE" clicks everyday!

If there is just one plate of food but a hundred starving people, then the scenario is absolutely perfect for a "riot" to ensue!

So,

if we can succeed in making available such info about "SCARCE/FEW" jobs to millions of job-starved fresh graduates, then, hopefully, we can create a VIRTUAL (online) stampede!

We can fill-up the email boxes of the advertisers of such jobs with thousands of (email) resumes.

Earlier, I have said that a job-starved graduate, does not give a damn for

Industry

Function

Designation - Level

and even

city location

He would decide to apply based on ACTUAL "VACANCY/POSITION NAME".

From the "VACANCY/POSITION NAME" itself, he understands the NATURE of the job and that is enough for him to make up his mind, whether to apply or not.

May be, he has even some friends/relatives who are employed in such positions and have told him about what exactly they "do", when they report for duty.

So, as far as FRESH graduates are concerned, the first decision is that we will let them Choose/select, a few ACTUAL "VACANCY/POSITION NAMES" for which they wish to receive alerts.

But

assuming that

There could be as many as 400 actual "VACANCY/POSITION" NAMES for ENTRY LEVEL jobs (and this list could keep growing)

a job-starved unemployed graduate may "select/choose" 123 such entry-level jobs and ask WWJ to daily send him job-alerts against all these 123

Vacancy-names!

And if a million unemployed graduates, ask that WWJ, everyday deliver them job-alerts for 50/70/100 vacancy-names, our server would crash!

The answer (Compromise) lies in

permitting/enabling, a fresh graduate to select a "basket" of 30 jobs (Vacancy-names) out of which,

WWJ delivers 5 (or 10) job-alerts for ONE (only) POSITION-NAME per day (i.e. all 30 positions in a cycle of 30 days, in rotation)

So, at a time, Server has to serve job-alerts for only one vacancy/day. So total workload gets distributed over 30 days.

Then the cycle repeats.

OR, the Subscriber can come back and create a new/fresh "CYCLE" for the next month.

Once created, a "Cycle" gets frozen.

This can be done as follows

AT THE COST OF REPITITION

ENTRY-LEVEL "JOBS"

In this case, "job-mining" will be simply reduced to extracting "ACTUAL VACANCY/POSITION-NAMES" from Advts and then matching with a predetermined (but expandable) list/table of some 150/200 entry-level jobs (I have given some to Deepa)

If there is a match, that advt. would get classified as "Entry level Job-Advt".

For such advts, theoretically, there is no need to extract/determine

  • City/Country
  • Industry-Name
  • Function
  • Designation-Level

But may be we cannot help extracting these "unwanted" details because we cannot build a special/separate "Job Miner" for "Entry-Level" Jobs only!

We have only ONE job miner!

Unless, of course, we make the jobminer to work/operate as follows:

\#1 Extract "Actual Position/Vacancy Name"

\#2 Match with list of 150/200 entry-level job-names

\#3 If match found, Segregate these job-advts in a bin called E (For Entry-level jobs). No further processing on this bin except extracting of "CITY" & "COUNTRY"

\#4 Transfer "un-matched" job-advts to a bin called F.

\#5 Get job-miner to work on/process, bin \mathbf{F} to extract other fields, such as,

  • City/Country
  • Function
  • Industry Name (From "Company Name" mapping)
  • Designation-Level
  • Age (max)
  • Exp (min)
  • Edu Qualifications
  • Keywords (Skills)

\#6 Create database tables.

Employing GURUMINE logic/concept into JOBMINE, we should face little difficulty in extracting all the above-mentioned "fields", except

INDUSTRY-NAME

For any given job-advt, "Industry-Name" will have to be found/allotted as follows:

\#1 Job-Miner extracts "Company-Name"

\#2 This "Company-Name" is matched with 6.3 Lakh companies listed in DCA CD (COMPANY NAME TABLE)

If ↓

Match found

If ↓

NO match

A

Allot one of the 51 "Industry-Names" mapped by HCP using tool developed by Vikram

B

Along with the full text of job-advt, place this Company Name into a tool where HCP can allot it, one of the 51 Industry-Names. Reading full job-advt (or clicking on URL of that Company's website) will tell me enough about that company, to decide which "INDUSTRY" it belongs to.

In case of (B),

\#3 Add this NEW company in the COMPANY-NAME TABLE along with, its Industry-Name allotted by HCP.

At this stage, my assumption is,

"Most of the companies posting job-advts on Indian jobsites must be INDIAN companies and must have been covered by DCA CD of 6.3 lakh companies;

From some 50000/60000 job-advts, we have extracted some 15300 company-names.

Next thing to find out is

"How many of these 15300 are covered by DCA CD?"

Obviously, for all those covered by DCA CD, we can allot appropriate "INDUSTRY-NAME" (one of the 51, which I have given to all 6.3 lakhs companies).

I assume {90\%} - {95\%} must be covered. Remaining {5\%} - {10\%} can be loaded in new tool (Industry-Name Allotment Tool), along with full job-advt text. It will take me a few days to do this.

Of course, the real problem we will face, will be in respect of

AMERICAN Job-Advts/AMERICAN Companies.

Here, we do not have anything (any database) like our DCA CD.

But I am sure, such a CD/database does exist - may be even, on Internet/WWW.

Either American Govt or some professional/trade body in U.S.A. must have compiled such a {CD/database}, listing companies and their "Industry-classifications". Afterall, American Industries are the most "Database/Statistics Conscious" in entire world.

Deepa must research on the net and locate this, so that, we can quickly "map" even the American companies against our 51 Industry-Names.

P.S. Although, I have, in my past notes, stated that, "CITY/COUNTRY" does not matter for "ENTRY-LEVEL" jobs, I am having second thoughts on the subject.

At this stage, I feel, we should allow FRESH GRADUATES/college students to select CITIES/

COUNTRIES" where they wish to work.

This becomes relevant, when we say that for this group of job-seekers, we would present

ENTRY-LEVEL AMERICAN JOBS as well.

NOW, if I am a "programmer" or a "Male Nurse", I may like to select

Position

Select

Programmer

And also select

Country Choice

India

USA

U K

\square

Of course, I am not suggesting that we link the "position" with "country". Once he selects any country, then all those "position" which he has ticked, he will get job-alert.

While on the subject of "ENTRY-LEVEL" job-alerts to be used for generating millions of "Apply Online" clicks, from lakhs of unemployed graduates,

question arises,

"How many job-alerts should we send to an unemployed subscriber of JAM everyday?"

Suppose he has chosen 20 entry-level positions in which he is interested, and also chosen

INDIA

USA

UK ,

then, do we DAILY send him

20 { positions } \times 3 { countries } \times 10 { alerts/day } = 600 { alerts | day } ?

This is clearly Unworkable! - considering that we intend to lure lakhs (if not millions) of unemployed graduates to become JAM subscribers.

Any clever Suggestions?

On the homepage, in the lefthand box, marked - QUICK SEARCH RESULTS,

I entered,

[Box: Entry Level jobs]

and clicked.

The result showed 4000 jobs!

Many of these would be of immense interest to millions of unemployed graduates from India.

Remember, our job (JAM's USP), is to

deliver "Entry-Level Jobs" from all over the world to unemployed mobile-subscribers of India.

deliver their "Resumes" (I don't think ImageBuilders!) to thousands of Companies world-wide, who may or may not be looking for Indians to fill these positions.

We are a mere "Messenger".

On careerbuilder homepage, if you click

Search by Company [Button: Advanced Search],

then you get names (actually links to their corporate websites) of thousands of American companies.

We can, on some page like

"Our Job-Adrt. Sources",

show the names of all these Companies, and claim that WWJ.com goes out & Spiders (We will use a better word!) job-advts from the "career-sections" of their websites! - which, we should, in fact do. This would dramatically raise, the CREDIBILITY OF WWJ!

ENTRY LEVEL JOBS

This is further to my earlier note on the Subject, dt. 30/04/04 (5 pages + 3 pages of Annex). Since that note was only marked Abhi/Vikram, Deepa, should borrow & read it quickly.

This morning, I have handed over to Deepa, Some more lists of, what could be considered, "Entry-Level Jobs".

These were taken from Naukri.com. Deepa can enlarge this list by taking down similar "Vacancy Names/Position Names" from other Indian/Foreign job-sites as well.

In my note dt. 30/04/04, I already said that for a fresh graduate/College Student, Industry/Function/Design. Level/City/ etc. make no sense what-so-ever!

They want any job/anywhere/any title!

They have really no "job-preferences"!

So, for them, a "Job-preference form" has no meaning!

As far as I can visualize, the most easily understood form, would look like:

ENTRY-LEVEL JOBS/JUNIOR-LEVEL JOBS

Usually call for "NIL" or Very Little exp

Meant for "Fresh Graduates"/College students.

If you are a Fresh Graduate or a College student, tick [Checkbox: ] the check boxes against "Vacancies/positions", for which you would like to receive job-alerts on your mobile-phones.

This means "JOB-PREFERENCE" form, providing selection of

  • Industry

  • City

\Biggl\} will be made available to only "EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS"

Again, when it comes to "SUBMIT RESUME" is concerned, I suggest we adopt following approach:

**(A) For "EXPERIENCED" PROFESSIONALS

Start with simple "cut & paste" of their plain/text resume

Converted to "ImageBuilder" by GuruMine

Validated by the jobseeker ONLINE (including, "CAREER HISTORY" section)

Allotment (Online) of User ID/Password/PEN

(Automatic?) presentation/display of

JOB PREFERENCE FORM

with a request/message to fill in.

**(B) For "FRESH GRADUATES/COLLEGE STUDENTS"

These people would be presented with "structured" submit Resume forms which we have developed and already uploaded on www.3pjobs.com

They would be asked to fill-in the relevant form. There will be a clear message that when a College student passes his FINAL exam, he simply comes back & "EDITS" his "College student" form

and [Box: submit]. He would, automatically get "transferred" to FRESH GRADUATE.

We have already built-in this "convenience" into our software/database.

WHY DO WE WANT FRESH GRADUATES/COLLEGE STUDENTS TO FILL-IN STRUCTURED FORMS?

It is quite simple!

Their "text" resume, would contain no keywords (function) from which, GuruMine can develop a FUNCTION PROFILE!

I wonder, what GuruMine would come up with, if it tried! May be something horrible!

They have no "experience" details to submit (Summer Training rarely counts!) so what else can they write in their resume?

If these people click "APPLY ONLINE" on their mobile on an "ENTRY-LEVEL" job ad,

and

JAM forwards their "structured" form to the job-advertiser, he would get a comprehensive "ACADEMIC PROFILE" of the applicant, which is easy to compare with other applicants - and "makes much more Sense"!

If the job-advertiser wishes, he may, even be able to create a DATABASE of such "freshers"-resumes and can "Search" it on any no. of "search-parameters" at anytime in future (especially college/Uni/ % marks etc).

and finally, College Students/Fresh graduates do NOT MIND to fill-in structured submit resume forms on jobsites, even if it takes 30 minutes! Usually they would have all data ready to fill-in in 10 minutes or less.

So let us do this [Signature/Symbol]

For every Indian professional, employed in "Organised" sector, there are, perhaps 10 unemployed graduates, desperately trying to get their first job - any job.

This is the reason why 43 million are "registered" with Employment Exchanges - although not all of them may be graduates. Of course, there are many millions of graduates who have not bothered to register with any employment exchange, because they know it is an useless exercise. Their rank is growing at 3 lakhs/year.

It is this group that constitutes the "main" market for WWJ.com. It is this group of 50+ million which would bring us the revenue.

Because they are "desperate" (neither Roti, nor Kapada, nor Makan, nor marriage, without a job), they would click "Apply Online" against ANY job which says

This is an "Entry-level" job (even if temporary/contractual/part-time)

Only requirement is a "Graduate" degree-level. (or even a DIPLOMA-level).

only a STIPEND will be paid.

The job is in middle of Kutchh desert or on top of Siachin glacier or in middle of Terai's jungle etc.

No matter what the job, such a desperate/frustrated youth will "borrow Rs. 200/= every month from the parents (or already employed friends), so that he can "click-away" on each & every

"ENTRY-LEVEL JOB-ALERT"

(requiring no prior experience!)

that appears on his mobile!

[ Of course, during my long career, I have received resumes from persons with 2 years experience in as Medical Reps, applying for the post of "GM (Pharma)"!]

We can ignore this huge market at our own peril! - a market which keeps growing bigger and bigger.

Hence, it is absolutely essential that on WWJ.com, we provide thousands of "ENTRY-LEVEL job-advts".

But since there are really very

Few job-advts, which require "NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE", I wonder, whether, in our internal definition, we define

Entry-level Job = any job asking for a min exp of 2 years.

This way, at least, we will be able to "present" some jobs to these millions of unemployed graduates.

One more thing.

Just, as these unemployed graduates don't care, where the job is located, they also don't give a damn for

  • Industry (Even grave-digging would be OK!)
  • Function (Washing utensils in Hotel Kitchen)
  • Designation-Level (or Vacancy-Name) (Junior Road-Sweeper).

So,

ALL these things go out from their "JOB-PREFERENCE" FORM

In fact, our "Job-Preference" form, may look, somewhat like shown on next page.

JOB-PREFERENCE FORM

  • I am looking for an ENTRY-LEVEL job.

(If you select this, there is no need to fill-in rest of this form, which is meant for "EXPERIENCED" professionals, looking for career-improvement)

What we need is for "JOBMINE" software to analyse and segregate into a separate bin, all

ENTRY-LEVEL JOBS

without bothering any further break-up,

  • Industry-wise / Function-wise / City-wise / Level-wise.

Then, ALL such "entry-level" job-alerts will be sent (as SMS), to ALL candidates who have registered for "Entry-Level Jobs" as their Job Preferences.

In their cases, we may even "agree" to send them 50 or even 100 job-alerts per day! I am sure, they won't mind but on the contrary, they would "Love"! The "more-the-merrier" as far as they are concerned!! And, I expect them to furiously "click-away" Apply online, for each & every job!

Please give this a SERIOUS thought and ensure to implement right-away
