Webcrawler/Spider |
To download job-aduts from
jobsites, automatically, in order to build-up a large database. &
corporate "Career-Sites" |
08/11/03 |
|
2. |
Redesign of
"Auto-Converter" (JobMine) |
To make it a robust
"Job-mining" tool, which would extract many more "fields"
& create a structured database of job-ads. This
(conversion/extraction) will be done offline & then the database
created will get auto-uploaded on website. Just as Naukri creates Function
Profile graphs & shows rawscore & percentile of a given
"Resume", Jobmine tool will create similar Function-wise profile
graphs of "Job-Advts" & when an Advt. is composed
online, show its "Raw-score" / "percentile". |
|
|
3. |
Ad-Compose (Guru Ad) |
Will enable an HR manager
to create/post his job-adut on WWJ online. (Oh.
https://www.google.com/search?q=Recruitguru.com, same tool will be known as
GuruAd, except that, from https://www.google.com/search?q=Recruitguru.com, an
HR mgr. can create a 'post' his job-adut, not only to WWJ.com but to any
other jobsites such as Monster/Naukri/JobsAhead, etc.) |
01-06-03 |
|
4. |
Job Market
Survey/Analysis/Forecast |
By aggregating job-aduts from
all over India, and having created a structured database (on an ongoing
basis), we would be able to plot "Frequency Distribution Graphs"
of job-aduts. Industry-wise Function-wise City-wise Period-wise
Design-Level wise, etc. & make these available (for a price?)
to any subscriber of WWJ. |

|
5. |
Conventional
Jobsearch/Display of results/apply-online/email to a friend |
Since all jobsites offer this
(conventional method) of job-search, WWJ, will also need to offer this!
Since, decide to "differentiate" WWJ, by not offering
conventional jobsearch. We are NOT a jobsite! |

Radical (Unconventional)
Jobsearch/Apply-online (The Match-Index) + The Match-Maker (dt.
31-05-03) |
Even though WWJ will aggregate (and
make available for searching) lakhs of job-aduts (eventually from
all over the World but starting with India), who has time to spend many
hours (and many rupees), surfing WWJ in search of those few "Ideal"
jobs'? And you have to do this DAILY! - because, maybe, 20000 new jobs got
added "yesterday"! !! (Even though, now, WWJ will ensure that a
jobseeker, does not have to visit 5 jobsites daily!). Our solution:
The moment, a jobseeker posts his plain email resume - AND (most
important), fills-up his "Career-History" details - he
will be able to see a graph such as: . Now he can click, any Match-Index
& see a display/tabulation of only those job-advts which
"match" his resume to that extent & then apply-online! Advantages:
Jobseeker Save enormous time cost Only apply against those
job-advt's where his chances of getting selected are quite high Corporates
Receive only most appropriate/suitable resumes which "match"
their requirements WWJ By making available this free service,
only to those candidates who fill-up "Career-History" section &
thereby make available "Salary/Desig./Tenure" details, WWJ can now
generate these graphical profiles & sell to Recruiters for Rs. 50/- per
profile! |

These graphs will be of immense
value/interest to both the Recruiters as well as to the Jobseekers.
WWJ's main revenue will come from this feature. Although automatically &
dynamically generated, creation of these graphs, entirely depends upon
millions of candidates, First posting their email resumes on WWJ
Then editing/completing "Career History" section
online To get these millions to "take this (extra) trouble", we
will need to offer to them, some Very powerful "Incentives"
such as: Apply Online (plain email resumes - not ImageBuilders!)
(May be) a Mailing List of 5000 Corporates/Placement Agencies
to whom they can send their email resumes. Radical/Unconventional
Jobsearch (Match-Index) Job Alert as SMS Interview-Preparedness
(Project Prepare) - (Note dt. 28/06/03) Beauty Index (Note
dt. 02/06/03) Horoscope (C (u) 04/05/03) Downloading
of Image Builder "Editing" thru mere "re-posting"
of email resume (no need for User ID/Password - a great convenience!)

email delivery of job-advts to Print Media TV channels of Cybercafes Tele.cos |
Multitude delivery channels |
To get a lot of "free"
publicity. In return for giving away "free content" over any
(willing-to-collaborate) delivery-channels By aggregating job-advts
from various sources (mostly jobsites), we are "Creating a
powerful content, which is in great demand by jobseekers. But not all
jobseeker can be expected to log into WWJ-and daily, too!" So, "mountain
must go to Mohamed". The content must be delivered at the door-steps
of the jobseekers. Fortunately for us, "delivery-channels"
are also desperately on lookout for "Content" that would interest
their subscribers - and very likely, they may even pay for it. On WWJ,
such delivery-channels (mostly local/small town newspapers) would
become "subscribers". On a "Configuration-screen",
they will select the types of job-advts, which they would like to
receive (e.g. Industry / Function / Desig. Levels / City / Period
etc). They will also tell WWJ, how often do they want to receive such Content
- tabulation (viz. Daily / Weekly etc). Based on such "instructions",
Software will put together such advts (in form of a 6 Column
/ 8 Column of newspaper) in a tabulation & email to
each subscriber. Every tenth line of tabulation will read, "to apply
online, log onto www.World-Wide-Jobs.com." Obviously,
candidates will come & deposit their resumes on WWJ in order to apply-online.
These plain email resumes will get forwarded to Concerned Corporate
Advertizers. By unleashing a tornado avalanche tsunami of millions of
plain email resumes flooding the mailboxes of Advertizers, we hope to create
a self-fulfilling market for Recruiters (Comm. Mine) (Gun Search). |

Job Alert as SMS on
Mobile phones |
Even today, in India, for every
PC sold, ten (10) mobile-phones are sold! Soon this will be 20
times. And, also by that time (2007)-all mobiles will be Internet-enabled.
Against a PC's price of Rs.30,000/-, an Internet-enabled mobile's
price will be not more than Rs.10,000/-. So future delivery (of
content) device is Mobile phone-not a PC (which is tethered by wires
& sits on a table & cannot be carried wherever you go)- Hence,
sending job-alerts as email to a PC, would soon become "paste".
All will prefer to receive their job-alerts as an SMS (-in course of
time, as an MMS) over their mobiles. Proof: During last week
(Oct 21-27), Rs.200 crores worth of Diwali Greetings were sent out as SMS!
At Rs.2 per message, that is nearly 100 Crore (1000 million)
messages. And, if we assume that 10 million mobile-phone owners sent
these messages (out of 15 million mobile-population) that translates into 100
messages sent out by each mobile-owner! If each mobile-phone owner, agree
to receive (@ Rs. 2) only one "SMS job-alert per
day", that is Rs. 20 million/day (Rs. 2 crore/day, or Rs.
600 cr/year!). And a job-alert (in a job-starved country having 42
million unemployed graduates registered with 900 employment-exchanges
across the Country), has a FAR GREATER importance/value to a jobseeker
than a Diwali Greeting! And a cup of tea in a dhaba costs Rs.5/=
and even an unemployed youth gets his parents to give him Rs.5/day for
a cup of tea! |

Project PREPARE |
Thru "Interactive
Response Sheet", we will keep track of Who (Which candidate)
is being called for an interview When and by Whom (Which
Corporate) - and, perhaps for What (Position/Vacancy). To such
Candidates, we will make available, detailed information about the
prospective employer (may be by tieing up with CMIE) so that he goes
to the interview, thoroughly prepared. We may make this "service
free - Initially- and once it catches up, we will charge for it.
Obviously this service will be "free", only to those jobseekers
who submit their resume on WWJ (With full details of "career
History Section). |

Any no. of Jobsites offer help/guidance/advice
on how to write/prepare a better-looking / impressive resume, with all

# 14 India-Marketer |
(My Note dt: $\quad
\quad \quad$) |
$\quad \quad \quad$ |
Why Required?
Candidates want to know as much
about a prospective employer, both, before "Applying" and
afterwards too, if called for an Interview. But info (data about
corporates/employers) are lying in widely dispersed and often unreachable/unsearchable
databases. The most comprehensive & data-rich, databases,
also charge a hefty fee (for annual subscription) which a
candidate can ill-afford.
If WWJ.com, can offer
Candidates some basic/elementary Info about all Companies, that
would be highly appreciated. This Info could be:
- Name
- Address (City)
- Phone
- Email ID
- Senior Executive Name
- Turnover
- Products/Services
- Industry Group
Such Info is already available
in DCA CD (March 2000 - 5.8 lakh Companies) (March 2003 - 6.3 lakh
Companies). We have already "Cracked" & generated a structured
database. All we need is a "Search Engine" (simple).
In the Search-results display
(of shortlisted Companies), Clicking on the name of any company-name,
should display ALL job-advts released by that Company on various
jobsites (-and downloaded by our Spider), in reverse
chronological order (Job Advt. Summary). Clicking on any particular
job-advt would display entire job-advt, with a provision to click
"Apply Online".
Of course, Companies themselves,
will be Searchable by Industry Product/Service City &
Clicking on Company-Name will display, Address/Phone/Fax/email
& other data in the database. So, India Marketer, will serve 2
purposes, simultaneously:
# 1 Providing Company Info. to
jobseekers
# 2 Listing jobs available
(with any given Company) and enabling jobseekers to "Apply Online"
