Concept Note for Widget “Headhunter”
![icon: Head Hunter logo]

  • Whereas widget “My Jobs” is meant for jobseekers, widget “Headhunter” will be for Recruiters (i.e., employers + agencies).

  • At fundamental level, Headhunter will be opposite of My Jobs, but work quite similarly.

  • My Jobs brings “Job Alerts” to jobseekers whereas Headhunter will bring Resume Alerts to recruiters.

  • To be able to use this widget, a recruiter will need to register on our website at “Employer Registration” and obtain his password.

  • To use Headhunter widget, recruiter would need to enter his mobile no. / password in Log-In screen of widget.

  • One important point: In “Terms and Conditions”...

Page 2 (2/8)

  • At the bottom of “Employer Registration”, we must add one more, viz:

“I agree to receive any type of promotional/marketing communication, by way of SMS/email/banner adverts etc., on my email ID and/or my mobile phone etc. from this website or from any associate/user/partner of this website.”

  • This condition must also be (quickly) added in the “Terms and Conditions” below the “Submit Brief Resume” form.

There will be a webpage called
“My Resume Alert Preferences”

  • After login, a registered employer would need to fill up a form on this page, which will ask for his resume-alert preferences, in terms of:

    • Industry

    • Functional Background

    • Designation Level

    • Edu. Level

    • Age (max)

    • Exp (min)

    • Candidate’s current city location
      (of course, country too)

We should consider whether we can use for this (Resume Alert) purpose, our existing “Resume Search” page, itself—

and title it:
“Resume Search / Resume Alert Preference”

and, at the bottom of the form, add:

☑ I would like to receive on my mobile/tablet, resume-alerts of candidates matching above-mentioned criteria.

Then add two buttons at the bottom (NOT mutually exclusive) as follows:

[ Show matching Resumes NOW ]
[ Send matching Resume Alerts on my mobile/tablet ]

Of course, we need to enable a recruiter to create multiple “Resume Alert Profiles”.

And, then show him in following tabulation, what profiles / how many profiles, he has created and when:

Dear [__________],

Here is a list of “Resume Alert Profiles” created by you.

IT / Non-IT[ ][ ]

Of course, he can see this table, only if he is logged-in.

🔷 As in case of “My Jobs” widget, software will “match” all resumes every morning, with each “created” profile, and prepare a

• “Resume Alert Summary” Tabulation page
• “Resume Alert Detail” page

“Resume Alert Detail” page will show

  • Candidate Name: Ajay Mhatre

  • Current Designation: Manager - Sales

  • Current Employer: Voltas

“Resume Alert Summary” page will show:

▻ Upon {touching/pressing} one of the buttons, appropriate message will be delivered to the concerned candidate/s, on his/their
Mobile Phones

▻ These messages will be accompanied by some ADVTs provided by InMobi.com

▻ This will give us a 60% share of ADVT prices, charged by InMobi to their client advertisers.

▻ In InMobi parlance, our website will become a PUBLISHER

▻ As far as Registered Employer/Recruiters are concerned, they will need to put up with such PUSHED ADVTs, in return for a FREE service, provided by our site.
It is for this reason, that we will modify TERMS & CONDITIONS, as mentioned earlier.

▻ We assume that, employers/recruiters will like our service, because:

  • it is free

  • does not require searching of resumes on job-portals

  • does not require PC / broadband

  • can be used at anytime, on-the-go

  • enables sending "contact communication" to candidates by simply touching a button

    • No opening of Outlook / typing of message / providing whom to contact & how to contact info — automatically

  • If Android-based tablets (e.g., Akash) are used, enables video-interviewing on tablet using Skype
(This will require asking for Skype ID of recruiters, in “Employer Registration Form”)

  • Out of India’s 26 million small/medium businesses, not even 100,000 are currently using Naukri / Monster / TimesJobs to advertise their job vacancies.
This is because of hefty quarterly/annual “Subscription Fees” running into a few thousand rupees (for a quarter) to a couple of lakh rupees (for annual).

Page 8/8

Offering “Instant availability” of perfectly matching resumes (as per their Resume Alert Preferences/Profiles) — and that too on-the-go and free, will encourage many millions of these SMEs to sign up on our site.

For InMobi, this will be a very attractive platform to deliver sharply targeted Mobile Advts.

▶ As soon as:

  • My Jobs widget gets pre-installed on Akash Tablets

  • Traffic on our site builds up,

We will develop “Headhunter” widget.

▶ We will also store “Resume Alert Preference” history (for all profiles created by a given advertiser/employer), and arrange each “search criteria” in descending order of the frequency of selecting.
This will help us refine our Match-making Algorithm
