Subject: Launch of Recruitguru

Now less than 2 weeks are left. So, it is about time Marketing of Reemitguru gets into second gear.

In the first gear, we sent out emails / faxes / printed letters (60,000 candidates?) to some 1500 placement agencies.
This has so far resulted in only 39 registrations and 4 complete (ImageBuilder + Database)!
This is quite disappointing.

There is still no “rush” despite your email reminder to these agencies.

Next step would be to follow-up by phoning instead — Sanjeev will do.

In the meantime, we must target / focus on “Ultimate Corporate Employers.”

To send to them (as an email artists’ enclosure), find my draft email:

Starting Monday (Aug 11), we must send out these messages to at least 1000 corporates every day.


Remember, we are NOT about to launch a physical product like a soap or TV. In that case, we would need to ensure that the entire distribution chain is filled with our products before launch-adverts appear on the newspapers or TV.

Every distributor / dealer / stockist / agent / retailer would need to have the shelves full of physical products when the announcement is made, so that no customer goes back without buying the product!
Otherwise, it would be a disaster — all advert expense would be wasted.

But with digital products that can be downloaded online from www…, it is a totally different story.

Our web service falls into this category.

First, there are no dealers / agents / stockists — i.e., no distribution channels to be filled up.

Every potential customer will log into our central server and get his service online directly.
There are no middlemen.

And he can (will) see not only all the products (i.e., transactions possible to be carried out by clicking on buttons), but through his Admin Tool he can see: → What he bought
→ When

→ How much

→ At what price

→ Total value of his purchases

→ How much balance in his account

So, this is a SELF-SERVICE WITHOUT A MIDDLEMAN.

And what is more, we are telling the customer that the

STORE WILL OPEN AT 9 A.M. ON AUG. 23

—and where exactly the store is located (URL) on the Web.

Even though the store is empty now, he can visit and read the labels on the (empty?) shelves!

By visiting and registering, he will know what will be stored & where — kind of a guided tour.

So when he returns on 23rd Aug, he knows what to look for & where.

We must create this buzz, this excitement, this anticipation — with bated breath.

And we have just 10 days to do this!

I have, about a month ago, already sent a draft of an email (titled “Launch Reminder”) that should be sent to our packet (current clients).

You have also given me printouts containing 2307 HR professionals (Name / Designation / Company but no email IDs!) from Non-Member database.

I will hand this over to Sanjeev.

    We have the 2000 version — it has been cracked/decrypted.

  • (We have a 2-year-old CD — Reena getting a new one in 1 month.)

  • (We have a 2-year-old one, but it mostly contains small partnership companies.)
  • Indian News Agency CD
  • (Reena getting it in 2/3 days.)
  • Email IDs Database supplied by Ravinder Singh
  • (Got 3 years back — contains some 3000 corporate email IDs.)
  • Email ID Database CD from @Sourcemultinovations (Mr. Sivaram – Bangalore)
    (After getting this by 12/08, supposed to contain 30,000 corporate email IDs.)
  • JobNet Directory – Edition 4
  • (From this, we have already created a database of some 1500 placement agencies.)
  • Job-Ads being downloaded by Samata
  • (from Monster / Naukri / JobsAhead / JobStreet / etc.)

By now we have already downloaded some 90,000 job-adverts, and some 3,000 are being added daily.

Each of these contains:

→ Advertiser Company Name (2 fields ideally)

→ Its Email ID

I suppose Auto-Converter catches these fields accurately.

So, we need to run these 90,000 through Auto-Converter and “harvest” company names and email IDs.

These auto-conversions should go on daily and automatically.

It should also automatically update the Corporate Database on a continuous basis — without human intervention.

Most of these job-ads are from placement agencies, so we should separate these out — because each agency releases hundreds of adverts.
