Hi Friends,

Even as I launch this today ( my 80th Birthday ), I realize that there is yet so much to say and do. There is just no time to look back, no time to wonder,"Will anyone read these pages?"

DRAFT EMAIL TO CANDIDATES

AUTOMATIC

Draft of email that should go out

to ALL the jobseekers who directly submit / paste their resumes online on Recruitgum.

Dear [Friend]

(This should be replaced by that person’s name, since we already know)

Thank you for submitting your resume on www.Recruitgum.com

Your Password is __________

Your UserID is __________

Write these down carefully in your diary. You would need these to

- access your resume (for editing) or

- to use other services that we may introduce in near future (eg. JobSearch / JobAlert etc.)

Attached also find a mailing list of 30,000 recruiters of India (including 1000 placement agencies). This would help you forward your resume to them directly, if you wish.

However, in case you plan to send your ImageBuilder [Version – which you may have downloaded from our website],

please ensure that,

- there are no extraction errors

- the “Career History” (Employment record) section is completed / comprehensive in all respects.

Although you can enter the missing details offline (after downloading), it is strongly recommended that you also do so online (log-in & edit later) if you have not already done).

If your online version is complete / up to date, there are following advantages:

- If one of our Subscribers shortlists your resume (thru resume-search service), he gets to see latest / up-to-date complete version. This vastly improves your chance of being called for an interview.

- Soon, we plan to introduce an online jobseeker service. This free service will also include an “APPLY ONLINE” feature using which you will be able to instantaneously forward your ImageBuilder to any number of your advertisers. Hence it is imperative that your ONLINE version of ImageBuilder is always up-to-date / complete in all respects.

- A complete / updated / latest version of ONLINE resume will also ensure that you will receive job alerts for only appropriately matching job-adverts.

If there have occurred significant changes in your resume in respect of your expertise / skills / knowledge / functional exposure ever since you last pasted your resume on our website, then I would recommend that, instead of trying to “edit” your existing ONLINE version, you simply paste (re-submit all over again) your latest resume.

Do not worry about your Permanent Executive Number (PEN).

This will not change!

Our Artificial Intelligence software will instantly recognise that you are an existing member and will relate you to your old / existing PEN, and your old / existing Password.

What will certainly change, however are your FUNCTIONAL EXPOSURE PROFILES (Three graphs).

(check this with Kartavya)

This is obvious – and also a terrific advantage.

During this period (since you last pasted your resume), thousands of other professionals have submitted their resumes on our website, and obtained “Raw Scores” & “Percentile-scores”.

So, even if there is no change in your “skill-set” your “percentile-score” would change amongst a much larger sample.

And the “percentile-score” shows your “standing / ranking” amongst co-professionals.

And you may want to check-out where you stand as often as you can – or as often as you wish.

On the other hand, if your fresh resume contains keywords relevant to your new skill-set, then again your percentile-score will change.

If you are competing (for a given job) against hundreds / thousands of co-professionals, it is a good idea to ensure that only your latest & comprehensive ImageBuilder version is viewed by the recruiters.

With regards

Sanjeev Thami
