Further
to my yesterday’s note (Parta System), following points need to be considered:
- We
have already agreed to offer to our subscribers, both options of payment,
viz.:
(1) By
Credit Card / Wire Transfer
(2) Most
foreign subscribers will prefer this.
(3) By
Cheques / Demand Drafts
(4) Most
Indian subscribers will prefer this.
For
both options of course, client MUST enter relevant data ONLINE, even as he asks
his clerk to post the cheque / DD. Only problem is that cheque / DD may arrive
after 15 days! — or may never arrive (cheques) — or may get lost (genuine issue
of duplicate) — or may bounce!
Parta
statements (A & B) must clearly highlight:
(1)
What “monies” have been “realised”
(2)
What “monies” are in “transit”
Suggest
you discuss with Asutosh.

Brand
Ambassador
Sure,
we would like ImageBuilder to become our brand ambassador.
But
even Sachin Tendulkar would wear a branded T-shirt only on the cricket ground.
He gets Rs. 5 crore to do that!
Even
if Raymond were to “gift” him a Rs. 5 lakh worth business-suit, he would not
wear it as he goes about his daily work, if on the back of the suit, the words
“RAYMOND” are printed in 2 inch high letters!
So,
whereas we want others to “notice” that we are wearing the most expensive suit
ever made, we do not wish to become a “Walking–Talking” advertisement for the
product!
Especially
if we are a professional executive with a load of self-respect/ego.
But
this human psychology is what we overlooked while designing ImageBuilder.
Right
at top of ImageBuilder, we put
“www.Recruitguru.com”
and our logo in big size!
I
have a feeling that this is what must be putting off the executives from using
ImageBuilder, even if he is impressed with the Functional Profile graphs.
Perhaps
he is getting a feeling that he is being “taken for a ride” — “that he is being
used” to promote Recruitguru!
And that is not a good feeling. It’s most certainly not an “emotion” that we
intend to arouse.
So,
as a first step, let us delete these from both pages of ImageBuilder, whether
as seen on Computer Screen or as downloaded/printed.
Let
us also immediately delete the notes at the bottom of both pages viz:
“From
a plan …”
Only
thing that we shall retain is small font on top of each Function Profile which
says in very small fonts:
Developed
by: (www.Recruitguru.com)
[to
add]
Remove
this line too: RESUME – SUMMARY
MY
FUNCTIONAL EXPOSURE PROFILES
[Sample
Size: No. of resumes selected for profiling (by Recruitguru) as on ———]
Add
these words in small fonts.
We
have discussed — and you have confirmed — that a Placement Agency subscribing
to our service can replace top part of ImageBuilder with its own
logo/address/name e.g.
www.Recruitguru.com
(to
be replaced by e.g.)

Even
a Corporate Subscriber or an HR Consultant Subscriber would like the
ImageBuilder to carry his own name/add/logo.
We
have following choices:
#1
By default a subscriber sees/gets an ImageBuilder with OUR name & logo,
which he can delete/replace with his own.
By
default this space is left blank with appropriate instruction:
In
this space, you can paste your Company’s
Name/Addr/Logo
by doing ____________
Obviously
a subscriber would need to do this once at the beginning. Thereafter,
automatically every ImageBuilder would carry this change.
This
option is MUCH BETTER.
In
second stage, please consider following:
Any
ImageBuilder is made up of several frames/blocks/sections etc.
Both
Corporate Subscribers as also jobseekers want to express their individuality
(just like two ladies are awfully embarrassed if found in identical sarees at a
party!).
This
aspect of a “customization” is much more important for a jobseeker.
We
can provide a feature whereby a jobseeker can move around these blocks/sections
(like a game of LEGO) to “customize” his “ImageBuilder”! Please consider. Ask,
why people hate uniforms?
