At its simplest, it takes an unstructured email resume and converts it into a structured database entry.

Currently, it can extract a set of predefined fields, and many more fields are planned for extraction in the near future.

It also extracts the most important keywords contained in the resume — signifying the skills, knowledge, and expertise of the candidate.
At a higher level, ResuMine is able to compute the Functional Exposure Score of the resume-owner.
In addition to computing and plotting this raw score graphically, it also computes and plots the percentile standing of the candidate, comparing them against thousands of similar professionals in the database.
This vivid, graphical presentation makes it extremely easy to determine the relative standing of the candidate’s expertise amongst peers.
