Hi Friends,

Even as I launch this today ( my 80th Birthday ), I realize that there is yet so much to say and do. There is just no time to look back, no time to wonder,"Will anyone read these pages?"

With regards,

Luring Senior Executives to Register

  • Just above the "Submit Resume" box, you must have put up one paragraph (which I gave you $3/4$ days back) - which makes "Submit Resume" optional.
  • I feel this is not enough. We need to do something/some action, which is far more "pro-active"! Our para is "passive" at best.
  • For this reason, I suggest we host a page as enclosed (I AM SENIOR), and a link on homepage in attractive way which is standing out & bound to draw attention of anyone visiting homepage.
  • A senior executive reading this webpage will have no reservation to register.
  • Q: How do we get "Senior" executives to VISIT & read this webpage?
  • Ans: From your resume database ($5.8$ L), separate those whose current designation is "General Manager" / Vice-President / CEO / COO / M.D. / Director / Head of Dept. etc.

Then send them an email as follows:

Dear Mr. [Name Box],

Do you know how many Conglomerates/Multinationals/ BS $500$ / ET $100$ Corporates, are on look-out for an executive with your background, to fill-up VERY SENIOR LEVEL POSITIONS ?

If you would like to know (without revealing your identity), just click on I AM SENIOR

It could be your stepping-stone!

With regards

Abhinandan.

One more source, for email IDs of Senior Executives, could be our own consultants!

I AM SENIOR

Dear Executive:

If you are a very Senior executive, you may not want to post your resume on any website.

Even on World-Wide-Jobs, where there is no "Resume Search" for HR managers and there is no way anyone can view your resume.

But that does not mean you are not interested to explore/examine very senior level openings in your professional field.

No problem.

Register - but do not post your resume! (Of course, you will need to indicate your "job-preferences" while registering).

Thereafter, we will send you daily job-alerts,

  • either as SMS on your mobile
  • or as email

And when you come across a vacancy that interests you, simply pick-up

your phone and talk to a well-known "Head-hunter" (Executive Recruiter)

These head-hunters know the VP (HR) / Director (HR) of all major corporations of India.

Without revealing your interest/your identity to the Corporate-Advertiser, this headhunter will make discreet inquiry and give you useful feedback as to

  • Designation/Salary offered
  • Posting City
  • Reporting relationship
  • Role/Responsibility
  • What kind of candidates are most likely to be considered

Wouldn't you say, a great service and absolutely FREE too!

Don't "Apply online"!

Don't lower your dignity!

Don't post your resume!

Play "Hard-to-please".

Let headhunters woo you.

With regards

Abhinandan.

When a person clicks on link Headhunter (Executive Recruiter), following page will open:

Perhaps above list could be arranged "City-wise".

Nimit tells me ERA now has over 70 member-firms.

I am sure Rashna has full list.
