I have no clue/idea as to how any
"partnering with indiatimes" can take shape. At this stage, idea is
to get them to visrt WWJ, get Interested, talk to us.
We have nothing to lose - but
there could be a lot to gain, by way of free publicity. (Signature)
Dear Poonam June 13, 2005
Partnering Proposal
How would you like 53 million
mobile-phone owners to start chatting, using your MCHAT?
Entirely possible. Hugely
profitable.
All you have to do, is add one
more "room" called JOBS or even better, call it https://www.google.com/search?q=WWW.World-Wide-Jobs.com
[WWJ]
Thru WWJ, we are already, daily
sending Job Alert SMS to subscribers of
- MTNL (Delhi + Mumbai) (1 million)
- Airtel (11 million)
By end of this month, we hope to
start delivering job-alert SMS to subscribers of
- BSNL (11 million) Rest 30 millions within a few
months.
OK - may be half are
"self-employed". That still leaves quite a lot of them. [some 44
million educated unemployed are registered with employment exchanges].
When they start receiving JAM:
Job Alert on Mobile
and when they start
"Applying online" right from their mobile itself, they would
experience something never experienced before.
And when they do, they would like
to "share" their experience with their friends.
They would want to tell their
friends:
- How relevant are the job-alerts
- How "applying-online" from their mobile
places their resume to employers before anyone else (first in the queue).
- How many recruitment managers/headhunters are
calling them up on
their mobiles to fix an interview
date.
And given an option, they would
like to share their "experience"
- online in realtime
- on mobile
Your MCHAT has the potential to
make plain old SMS, obsolete.
We have the "customer
base" to turn your MCHAT into a tornado what Geoffrey Moore would
like to call, a TORNADO
On the other hand, if you are a
fan of Seth Godin, you might want to "Unleash An Idea Virus".
If you like the idea and wish to
discuss further, feel free to phone me (M = 93, 2450, 6715).
But before you do, take a look at
