Creation of an Online Searchable
database
NACT are in the process of
sending out enclosed INSTITUTE PROFILE FORM to some 5000 Computer
Education Institutions.
When these forms are filled in
& returned, we have to create a database & upload on our website &
make it “Searchable”.
It should be possible to search
this database and locate “Institutions”
- located in a particular City
- offering a particular Course
- offering a particular course in any particular
month (batch)
- offering a particular course for a given “maximum”
fee
Generally speaking, it should
help a prospective student to make up his mind re:
- What course to take? (Course)
- Where to take? (City)
- When to take? (Month)
- What price to pay? (Price)
This feature has to be very much
in the nature of
COMPARISON SHOPPING
- Of course, there will have to be a facility to “edit”
the Institute Profile ON-LINE or the Institute may send the
revised info. to us and ask us to edit it.
- Obviously, the Institute will need to be issued USER
ID PASSWORD
- When a prospective student clicks on the name of
the Institute (Like the COMPARATIVE SHORT DISPLAY) he should be
able to see/view full profile of that Institute, including “Contact
Information”
- In course of time we would like to introduce the
facility/feature of “ONLINE ADMISSION APPLICATION” forms which can
be daily emailed to Concerned Institution.
- We also want to create a similar searchable
database for ENGINEERING & MBA Colleges.
- Here, the Profile will slightly differ from that of
Computer Edu. Institutions.
- Here too, in course of time, we would like to
introduce “ONLINE ADMISSION APPLICATION” form.
- In course of time, we would like to make it
possible for Computer Edu. Institutions and colleges to declare/announce
ADMISSION RESULTS on our website.
