See attached tabulation (of
database) and diagram
In each major city of India, we
are making a partner-network of
- Newspapers (then FREE JAS) - WWJ
- Placement Agencies (\{ then FREE WEBSITE / \{partners
of GR)
Corporates (Employers) in each
city, patronise (give business) to both, newspapers \& Placement agencies.
Corporates give advts to
newspapers (job-advts \& other advts).
Corporates may also be giving
"executive search assignments" to placement agencies.
So, if Corporates are their
"CLIENTS", it would be natural to expect that local newspapers \&
local placement agencies, would know them and even keep in touch with the
Recruitment Managers of each company (who decides whether to give advertise a
job in newspaper)
or to advertise on a jobsite or
to hire a brick-and-mortar placement agency for database-search / Headhunting).
But, it is quite likely that
Newspapers of (say) Bhopal and the placement agencies of Bhopal, do bf{NOT
possess {COMPREHENSIVE / EXHAUSTIVE data re: all Bhopal Corporates.
We can make such a database
available to both ({maybe, ONLINE / DYNAMIC) and only to those
- Placement Agencies who become partners of GR.
- Newspapers who print JAS in their papers.
With such a {Comprehensive
database of {LOCAL EMPLOYERS / CORPORATES at their disposal,
both ({Placement Agencies AND
Newspapers) can now {approach / target these corporates for {getting business.
Business of {Job-Advts.
- printing in local newspapers
or
- hosting on local (partner) jobsites
3/7
But {how do WWJ {and/or GR {benefit?
- by this {competition between the two to get the {same
business?
{Viz: business of job-advts.
May be there is no {immediate /
short term benefit. Only {long term benefit.
As far as {Partner Placement
Agencies are concerned, the {benefit ({of making available database) is {quite
clear - and also immediate.
If {partner placement agencies
can {"market / sell" their {websites ({subscriptions) to a {large no.
of LOCAL CORPORATES, they {can / will make money. If they {do, they will {stick
with us ({because we help them make money).
In the process, {GR will also get
more job-advts / resumes.
And thru the {mechanism of JAS,
these {very same Local job-advts ({first posted on a partner website), will
also go into {local paper's "Job supplement"!
So, {local jobseekers will get to
see, same job-advt on a {local
placement agency's website and
also in the {daily "Job supplement" of a local newspaper!
So the {jobseeker gets exposed to
{same job-advt. TWICE!
So, a local {placement agency ({Who
becomes our partner) can go and tell a {local Employer,
"Sir
{Post your job-advt. on my
jobsite.
{Next it will enter COMMON
database
{of GR
{Next it will enter into WWJ
database
{Next WWJ will email it next
morning
{to our local newspapers (as JAS)
{Next our local newspaper will
print it
{as a "Job Supplement"
for all its
{subscribers to SEE it
So, {even if our local jobseekers
missed {"SEEING" your advt. on my
Website, they will {most
certainly SEE it in {local newspapers, the {very next day!
{And for republishing in local
print-media, you pay nothing extra!
"for {price of ONE, get {ONE
more free!"
NOW, our {partner Placement
agency can {turn to local newspaper editors and address them as follows:
"Sir,
{When corporates post their
job-advts {in Times of India (print-media), their job-advts {get uploaded on
timesjobs.com, for FREE, {giving the advt DOUBLE exposure at no extra cost.
{But if you do not have your own
captive website, you cannot make such a promise / offer to your Corporate
Job-advertisers.
{Go Ahead!
{Make the promise.
{Treat my website as YOUR
website.
{I will upload all your
print-media
job-advts on my website,
absolutely {FREE!
For {job-advt posting on my
website, I will give you {FREE SUBSCRIPTION -
{and for UNLIMITED No. of
JOB-ADVTS getting printed in your newspaper.
{Simply REGISTER on my website -
{and while doing, circle / select
the category
- Corporate Employer {O
- Placement Agency {O
- Print-Media Newspaper {O"
{Abhi / Rajeev / Rejii
{Do you see any flaw in these
arguments?
{Are we able to make this a win /
win {situation for both, the local newspaper / {the local placement agency -
and of {course, the local employer too?
{If you agree, I can develop, an {Implementation
Strategy

Dear Cyril
It has been a long time since we
met last. Let us meet when you are in Mumbai next. I underwent a bypass surgery
8 months back but now I am fine.
During last one year, I have been
busy with launching of
www.World-Wide-Jobs.com ( WWJ )
We have already tied-up with
Airtel & MTNL and are in negotiation with TATA Indicom.
No. of registrations are modest
so far. It will take time for jobseekers to realise the benefits of getting
job-alerts on their mobiles/being able to apply online from their mobiles. I am
confident this unique service will catch-up in a big way.
I would appreciate if you can
find a few minutes to visit WWJ and then send me your comments/suggestions.
You will also find a blog at
www.mouthshut.com
> Internet > Jobs > World-Wide-Jobs
May be you may want to post your
own review!
Please convey my regards to
Sunita. Do write.
With regards,

Dear

What Business Are We In?
Nearly 30 years ago, marketing
guru Theodore Levitt said (in his famous essay, "Marketing Myopia"):
"American Railroads died
because they thought they were in the railroad business, instead of saying: We
are in transport business."
You may wish to ask yourself:
"Are we in
Internet-provisioning business? Are we in bandwidth business or are we in
content-delivery business? What core human needs do we satisfy?"
If you were to redefine yourself,
would you want to be a "source" of information that millions of
potential internet subscribers desperately need - now/immediately?
Such as,
Information on 2000 +
job-aduts getting posted on major Indian jobsites, everyday.
