To determine how big a hot news specific story is, and how concentrated in all the world's Internet traffic that occurs each day, Akamai Technologies Inc. uses the page-views and the stay at the end of its Web traffic requests, news aggregators and servers. A news map and index for warning on Internet Technologies (In-

ternet traffic) of the news is detailed insight into the ex-

tent to which Internet users are interested in the world’s news.

Akamai Technologies Inc. will soon launch a new Web map, which helps spend on Internet traffic for the world's Internet traffic and its news-consumption.

In its quest to start of a news index to measure the world's Internet traffic, Akamai Technologies Inc. wants to know the scope of news story or events.

Akamai Technologies Inc. has provided a Web map of the world's Internet traffic, showing the demand, concentration and reach of its Internet traffic data, based on the Akamai traffic of the news story as a proportion of overall Internet traffic. The Web map and Index should also help with early warning of Internet traffic.

Akamai Technologies Inc. hopes to make the data available to the public on the Web, a move that will put a much-needed spotlight on the Internet's traffic and the news consumption of news aggregators. Akamai Technologies Inc. already provides news index data from its Web traffic logs.
