EXPERT SYSTEM MODULE

The Expert System                               20-07-93

At The Root of The Expert System Is the Principal:

For Every Candidate There Is a Matching Company and For Every Company Somewhere There Is A Suitable Candidate

Corollary:

There Neither Ideal Candidates nor Ideal Companies There Are Only Compromises

Thousands Of Companies Looking for Candidates.

The Task of The Expert System Is To Say List Doubting!

Equally The Cost Of Such Perfect Matchmaking Could Be Enormous Even If We Were To Use Param Parallel Processing Computers

What We Will Therefore Perfect Match Making Between Candidates And Companies

This Should Drastically Reduce The Computing Effort Required Under Our Present HH 3P Software We Have Tried To Define

An Executive By                                                                                                 A Company By

1.       Age                                        Current                                                1. Industry

2.       Exp                                         Search

3.       Edu.Qual.                            Parameters

4.       Location                               Under

5.       Function                              Existing

6.       Hierarchy(Based On        HH3P

What Will Be Added                                                                        Required To Be Export System Will Be

7.       Products                                                                                              2. Products & Services (Including Planned)

8.       Skills                                                                                                      3. Location Of Plant / Reg Office /Brach Offices

A Vast Varity Of Skills Inventory                                                 4. Decision-Makers Esp With Respect To Growth

Mgmt.. Techniques In Our Regi Form                                           Recruitment Within The Company To Whom

9.       Attributes                                                                                               Biodatas Should Be Sent

E.G-Dynamic/Go Getter/Jetset                                                  5. Financial Performance For Last 5 Years.

   -Tenacious

  -Leader/Motivator

All Thought We Install HH3P Software Nearly 2 And Half Years Ago We Have Never Used It Literally.

One Reason There Are Others Also

Our Database Was Small If I Applied Even A Few Search Parameters Computer Could Not Come Up With Even One Name

So We Are In Process Of

Clubbing Together Several Functions From 200 To 40 Industries From 500 To50 Simplifying Education Qualifications

This Will Overcome Some Of The Problems Connected With A Small Database This Will Give Us A Temporary Relief.

With This Simplifications, We Should Be Able To Send Out Some Shortlist To Client Companies Even If The Search Parameters Used Are Only Functional Industry Or Designation

Even Thought Every Crude Client Will Be Able To Pick A Few Executive Code Numbers From These Shortlist And Ask For Detailed Converted Bio Datas

We Shall Remain In The Interim Phase For Next 1820 Months Say Till March 1995

File Are Operating People Are Trying To Reach Out To As Many Bombay Best Clients As Possible And Boost Revenue During This Interim Phase One Or 2 Persons Mr Nagle / Hcp / Pooja? Should Utilise This. Towards The Development Of The Expert System

As Far As Executive Related Information Field Our Concern Products Nemo Culture / Qualification

We Could Get Hold Of 2 Summer Trainees During May June 1994 From TISS / NMIMS Etcetera And Get This Done.

As Far As Company Related Information Fields Are Concerned.

We Could Get

Products Services

Location

Financial Performance

From CMIE Database

Credit Line 3.1 Database

Infotech Database

Dart Database

Critical Thing Would Be To Link One Of These Databases With HH3P Which May Not Be An Easy Task But Surely Not Impossible

As Far As Item #4

Decision makers within the company

we can get this only from UNABRIDGED annual reports from of public limited companies which give employee details of executive drawing ₹12,000 per month

For this we will need to establish contacts in each of the presses where these reports are printed

 ALSO

We Could Send a Miller Letter to Executive Who Are Registered with Us to Get A Copy From Within A Company Usually - Company Secretaries Department

              -Finance Department

              -Personnel Department

Add Rows as A Copy

Since We Do Not Charge Anything from The Executive Who Are Registered with Us, We Can Motivate Them for Small Favour Link This I Obviously We Should Write at Their Residential Address

BUT

We Should Not Attempt to Install the Expert System till We Have 2,00,000 Executive Records 50,000 Registration Forms and Bio Data

Perhaps Even the Above-Mentioned Figures May Be Too Small for An Expert System

Remember

We Are Vastly Expanding Search Parameters Under the Expert Systems Without A Very Large Tables Perhaps 1,000,000 Registrations? We Me Once Again Find Ourselves in A Situation That Our Shortlist Consist of

One Name Only!

So Much for The Expert System At Least For the Moment

Perhaps Even with Our Existing but Modified HH3P We Could Manage Very Well for The Next 34 Years Only If We Had a Large Database of Say

25,000 Registrations

So, Our First and Foremost Priority Is to Build Up Our DATABASE
