Level 1 – Rearranging Jobs search drop lists for Search parameters

Level 2 – Immediate display / listing of matching Job-advts, as soon as each of Jobseekers                                                                                    Registration gets completed.

Level 3 –Daily emailing links to newly arrived matching job-advts. Clicking on link will bring that jobseeker to his MY PAGE where jobs will be listed in a tabulation from where he can view / apply online

6.      Recommendation system for Recruiters

Same level 1/2/3 as in case of jobseekers.

7.      Long Tail Jobs                  Based on incorporating Google search Application on our webserver

 

8.      Long Tail Resumes

Long Tail jobs will work upon old database of 34 lakh job-advts whenever email IDs of job advertisers are available. Primarily this feature in meant to enable search Engine spiders to be able to index every keyword of all 34 lakh advts.

Will all these pages would be desirable.

Long Tail Jobs

Enclosed see tentative U/I may be you can simplicity

The main purpose is to have ONE page (one URL) on our website where search Engine spiders can keep clicking links to index 40/50 million keywords.

Since keyword/jobs/job adverts will get listed a few million times on a single page (single URL) I expect that when anyone types Jobs ADVTS in the search bar of google / yahoo/ Bing etc. our SINGLE PAGE would top the list!! That would increase our traffic fantastically.

However, implementing this feature would require installation of Google Search Appliance API on our server it may also require cleaning up of a lot of JUNK keyword before uploading.

Therefore, it may be best to first try-out this feature extensively OFFLINE and upload only when satisfied.

To save one column in U/I, we can provide Apply Online button on each Job-advt only when click opened.

When current Jobs get deleted after 60 days from conventional job search we should keep adding these to LONG TAIL. And since Google Search appliance API is supposed to work similarly to ISYS (and perhaps better) next Question is:

In our exiting ISYS database we already have a few lakh resumes which our consultants search using keywords typed into ISYS search bar. Search results are a listing of documents (resumes) containing those keywords. These resumes are then clicked & opened one by one for reading.

All this happens OFFLINE. We have been using ISYS for nearly 15 years.

How about creating a parallel and identical database of these resumes and let Google Search Appliance index keywords and find the relevant resume?

Kind of LONG TAIL/RESUME (OFFLINE)

Then let our consultants comeback and tell us which application (ISYS vs USA)

(we Man to add more currencies in time to come). This enables Overseas recruiters to compare salaries being paid across the World to similar / identical Candidates. Could this (emphasis on Jobseekers), be the reason why, Naukri has managed to get millions of jobseekers to register?

 

Has Naukri, rightly "figured-out" that getting jobseekers to "register/submit Resume is the "starting Point" ? - and, if they Succeed in doing this, Employers will follow?

 

Could they have also figured-out “and once again, rightly that different kinds of jobseekers have, different kinds of job-heads and therefore, providing a large. no- of WAYS IN WHICH TO DIRECTLY ZERO-IN ON THE DESIRED JOBS", (providing options), would attract more jobseekers?

 

We were focussed on Simplifying the life of recruiters by making India Recruiter, a Recruitment Process Platform - Whereas Naukri focussed on

 

Simplifying the life of Jobseekers - by making it extremely EASY for them to zeroth on the night jobs fast

Now that, thou Job Aggregator, we are in a position to offer OVER 2 LAKH JOBS, (- probably more than any other website), then, should we seriously consider "Copying" Naukri's strategy? of offering" umpteen options" to jobseekers to zero-in on their desired jobs fast?

 

In any case, of all We are parsing, and a very detailed/broken-down database downloaded jobs.

And, we have planned to make ALL of these jobs M "searchable" thru our Conventional Job Search".

 

Except that

Conventional Job Search is crammed with too many "Search Criteria 1 - Whereas Naukri's Search-bar has only 4 criteria, viz:

There will always be some jobseekers who wish to SIMULTANEOUSLY apply MULTIPLE Search-arteria to drill-down to a very short SHORT-LIST.

 

Search-Engines too, return MILLIONS of pages, but no one has time / patience. to beyond go 3rd page!

 

what may be ideal solution could be that a jobseeker can START with his ONE TO PHUST entera and then, be able to gradually narrow. down the SEARCH-RESULTS by applying Successive E FILTERS. I we had this functionality but removed it. Was it because it was not intuitive? - and ended up being more confusing!

Job advts "only those downloaded / posted during last 24 hours

Period Daily

Do not send a Candidate's resume to same advertiser, more than ONCE-A-MONTH. This is to avoid "duplication - since we know that many Companies Keep re-posting" same advt. again & again, for a few days, to attract applications.

 

Only MASTER/DEFAULT resume to be sent if Candidate has filled-in only STAGE 1

But

once he has "Customized" and made any version [ACTIVE] then that version to go. Shall we send only LINK or full resume?
