(Dated
08-07-03) – Instructions to Abhi
Main
Points:
- Disclaimer
Page:
- Most
websites have a page called “Disclaimer.”
- Abhi
is asked to upload the enclosed draft for RecruitGuru.
- It
can be changed later after studying similar pages on other sites.
- Terms
& Conditions on “Submit Resume” Page:
- Earlier,
Terms & Conditions were sent for FREE TRIAL subscribers.
- Unless
they “check” (accept) these terms, they cannot submit their registration
form.
- A
similar system is needed for jobseekers submitting resumes online on
RecruitGuru.
- They
must “accept” the terms by clicking a checkbox. Without this, their
resume won’t get accepted.
- A
message must remind them of this requirement.
- Reference:
This arrangement already exists on “3pJobs.com.”
- Need
to also copy Terms from 3pJobs for “Submit Resume” page.
- Confidentiality:
On 3pJobs resumes remain private unless candidates allow public viewing;
RecruitGuru will be public by default, so wording must be changed.

Notes
from Abhi (06-07-03)
- Pl.
order & get this book FAST!
- “Hiding
in Plain Sight” (James Cole)
- We
can possibly benefit from it enormously.
- Covert
Communications
- Remember,
thousands of emails we plan to send out to jobseekers & corporates
& placement agencies & job sites etc. are all “covert
communications”!
- So,
we definitely need a “Manual.”
- Example
Your ImageBuilder has our logo (sketched curve drawn).
This
is an “image” – so you can write a “hidden” software code inside this image!
Then, anytime a jobseeker uses ImageBuilder to apply (with or without
Interactive Page), your code will send you a message saying:
- Who
applied,
- To
whom,
- When
(date), and
- Why
(for job-advt no.)
Imagine
the implications.
