FAQ RESUMINE

Q: What is Resumine? What does it do?

Ans:
Resumine is an AI based software, which does the following:

Convert an unstructured email resume into a structured database
Extract & display skills/knowledge related keywords
Using a self-learning knowledge-base, develop Functional Competence Profile (FCP) of the jobseeker

Do you have a provision whereby your webservice can link-up with other webservices (eg: online testing of software engineers)?

What kind of hardware/software/telecom link will we need to be able to use your webservice?

What kind of software/telecom technologies does your webservice employ?
Is it “incompatible” with any other technologies?

Instead of keeping our resume-database on your webserver, can we keep it on our local server in our office and still be able to use your webservice?
What will be your charges/tariff in such a case?
How will you keep track of the transactions taking place on our server?

To safeguard against "misuse" of our resume database lying on your server, can we periodically change the User IDs/Passwords of our "Authorized Users"?

When changed, will your server automatically email the new User ID/Password to each individual authorized user OR you would expect the Chief Personnel Manager to do this?

How does Resumine protect my resume-database, lying on your webserver?

How can you guarantee that my resume-database cannot be "accessed" by anyone other than myself?

How can you ensure that my resume-database does not get mixed-up with resume-databases of other subscribers of your webservice?

Even as I continue to subscribe to your webservice, can I download on my local harddisk, the original email resumes along with relevant "structured" resume-database, for carrying-out the "search" process from my local harddisk, using my own "search-engine"?

After converting email resumes into a structured database, using your webservice, suppose I want to migrate (export) such structured resume-database, to one of my other OFFLINE HR applications, can I do so?

Do you provide an interface to link-up your “Resumine” webservice with my own, inhouse, intranet-based HR software such as BAAN / SAP / PEOPLESOFT etc? If yes, what help would you provide to me for such an integration?

Would you “charge” any fees for such integration? How much?

As far as usage of your webservice is concerned, what kind of "statistics" will you provide to

→ Individual Local Recruitment Managers

→ Central Personnel Chief

Will they be able to see/view these statistics "online" at anytime?

How will you ensure that unauthorised persons do not get to see our statistics?

If our resume-database is lying on your webserver, how do we know that
You are not merging it with your own database?
You are not searching "our" database?
You are not forwarding/recommending OUR resumes to YOUR clients?
You are not giving-away OUR database to someone else?

What kind of Technical Support would you provide as a part of your webservice?

What kind of "Service Level" do you guarantee? How do I get compensated if you fail in meeting this "service-level"?

In my Company, I have 10 Recruitment managers – located at different plants/offices.
Each one of them releases his own departmental job-adverts directly on his own, to jobsites/print-media and also receive the responses (resumes) directly.

Will just ONE web-subscription enable all of them to use your webservice directly & independently OR will each one of them be required to take-out separate web-subscriptions?

If just ONE/COMMON web-subscription will suffice, then how will you keep track of “Individual-usages” & “Total Combined Usage”?

In such a “MULTIPLE USERS” subscription, will all converted/structured resumes become part & parcel of a SINGLE/COMMON resume database?

Can you provide feature/facility whereby 10 independent/User-wise databases are created and that each local Recruitment Manager can “Access/Search” only his own resume database & no one else’s?

Even in such a case, can you provide a feature/facility whereby our CENTRAL PERSONNEL CHIEF can “Access” & conduct search, on all 10 independent databases Simultaneously?

Alternatively, on our explicit instructions

Can you provide a feature/facility whereby some other “local” Recruitment Managers can also access/search the entire database?
Can we have total flexibility as to “Who” & “How Many” of our local HR managers can “access/search” the entire database?
Can we, on our own, “grant/revoke” such access-rights?
