Long Tail Jobs
Long Tail Resumes
Based on incorporating Google Search Appliance on our web server.
“Long Tail Jobs” will work upon old database of 34 lakh job-adverts (wherever email IDs of job-advertisers are available).
Primarily, this feature is meant to enable Search Engine Spiders to be able to index every keyword of all 34 lakh adverts.
Will all these pages have a single URL? That would be desirable.
Incorporating Google Search Appliance
In our existing conventional Job-search page to enable “keyword-based” jobsearch

Dear
Sir/Madam
Sub-line: Closing down of IndiaRecruiter.net
Sometime
back I wrote to you that we plan to close down WWW.IndiaRecruiter.net
With the
launch of www.CustomizeResume.com a few days back, we are now ready
for that.
On CustomizeResume.com,
We have yet to launch the “Employer Section” which we plan to do in the next
few days. As soon as we do, I will inform you.
In the
meantime, do visit to get an idea of how a “Customized Resume” would greatly
help you to decide =
“Shall I
call this candidate for an interview?”
It is quite
possible that after seeing a “Customized Resume”, you may never again want to
read a plain text resume !

Jackson in a new avatar
The ‘king of pop’ has never really gone away. Michael Jackson’s sixth album, This Is It, which is based on his concerts and released last month, has topped the charts in several countries.
Fans have something new to look forward to. The late singer’s avatar has been unveiled on the Japanese social networking site Mixi, where he has been resurrected as a virtual character.
Said Michael was responsible for some of Sony’s most successful releases. His latest incarnation is on a social game where users can dress him up and make him dance.
Now what’s most startling is that Sega and Sony are working hand in hand to bring him back as a virtual star. His likeness will be used in a new video game that is expected to be launched early next year.
Industry experts say this is just one example of how technology is helping keep icons alive long after they’re gone.
Facebook and regional networks
Social networking giant Facebook has over 500 million users today. Most users belong to its core audience — the young.
But several regional networks are now trying to break into this space by focusing on local languages and cultures. Orkut, which was earlier strong in India, has seen a decline as Facebook surged ahead.
According to some networking experts, this may not be just a matter of user preference. Networks that focus on local languages have the advantage of being more relatable to users who are not fluent in English.
Sites like BharatStudent and others have seen growth in tier-II and tier-III cities. These platforms are trying to tap into communities that are often ignored by global networks.
Opera does one better
The Norwegian company has added a server to the latest version of its browser
By Nikhil Dey
When browsers were first invented, they were simply tools that helped users navigate the web. Over the years, browsers have evolved into complex software platforms offering everything from email clients to developer tools.
Opera Software has now taken the next step. The company has added a server to the latest version of its browser. This means users can host websites directly from their computers.
It lets you specify which files on your computer you want to share with others. Anyone who knows the link can access the files, regardless of where they are.
Now, all that remains to be done is make sure your internet connection can handle the load. The URL and disk space are limited.
Experts say this move is a bold attempt to redefine what a browser can do. However, concerns remain about security and bandwidth usage.
Still, the feature could prove useful for developers and small businesses looking for a quick way to host content without investing in expensive infrastructure.
