• Rajeev expects to come/install this tool (on the desktops of Consultants) during early this week.
• The tool is meant to download resumes from Monsterindia.com and it is configured for our HR/swl/database etc. It will not work on any other config (unless customised).

Generally Speaking the designations follows the Name of the executives. It follows the name IMMEDIATELY unless age is inserted after the name alternatively

Name ( of an executives) PRECEEDS his designation.

Generally speaking, VERB precedes the NAME

Quite often executive age ( in numerals) appears AFTER the NAME.

Almost always the name of the organization (company) FOLLOWS ( but not necessarily immediately) the name of the Executives or the name of the organisation.

Almost always the name of the organisation is dropped / left out during REPEAT REFRENCES for an executive name.

When the name of an execuitves appears in an article for the FIRST TIME, it is either in two Words ( e.g. Rahul Bajaj / Sarab Mistry / Adi Godrej)

OR with INITIALS (e.g. A.C.Bhargava / S.P. Hinduja / V. Kurien / S.M.Datta)

WE can develop a tool / spider, which visits domin-b website daily and automatically downloads name of senior executives & places these in a Non- Member Database Comprising

Executive Name

Designation

Name of Company

These data can, thereafter, become searchable in Non-Member search tool already available.

Possibly such a Name Harvester can also work on many other website- which regularly report Executives Track / Executive Movement / People on the move etc.

We will need to develop suitable Logic for harvesting. Such a logic will be somewhat similar to the logic developed by us earlier for HARVESTER, where we try to find word, preceding or succeeding other words such as

To help us develop such a logic please get somebody to enter in enclosed sheet data gleaned from domain b for at least 100 instances. In enclosed sheet, I have shown how this data should be complied. You may wish to compile such data, directly in an Excel sheet & then email to Rahul.
