MASS CONTACT MARKETING

MASS CONTACT MARKETING.

Today, we have no feature/facility of "AUTOMATIC EXTRACTION" of:

  • Addresses
  • email add.
  • Phone No (off/Resi)
  • Mobile No.
  • Fax No.

etc. etc.

and create MASS-MAILING DATABASES.

We need such (creation) databases of:

  • Members (active jobseekers)
  • NON-Members (passive jobseekers)
  • Corporate Members (who have submitted their profiles on our website or posted job-advts)
  • Corporate Non-Members (any Company - a potential client; especially those who have been advertising their jobs in print media)
  • Engg. Colleges / Mgmt Colleges
  • Compu. Edu. Institutions
  • Vendors / Suppliers
  • Personnel Managers
  • NIPM Members
  • NASSCOM "
  • CII "
  • FICCI "

etc etc.

To each category, we need to send out regular MAILERS (Snail Mail / e-mail).

To each category, we need to make phone-calls or send VOICE-MAILS (at office or residence).

To each category, we need to send SMS messages over their mobiles.

We need a system to automatically compile such databases, by extracting information from:

  • Resume Forms
  • Visiting Cards
  • Membership Directories $\left.\text{These may require manual data-entry.}\right\}$
  • Corpo. Profile Forms
  • Edu. Insti. Forms
  • Job Advt. - Posting (online / offline)

Using "MAIL-KING" software (which we have already installed), it should be possible to carry-out MASS COMMUNICATION CAMPAIGN:

  • for any given category
  • using any mode (phone/fax/email/voicemail/SMS/post)

Only manual effort should be to "compose the message" & "select the Category & select the MODE."

MESSAGE $\rightarrow$ CATEGORY $\rightarrow$ MODE.

 




OFFLINE ENTRY OF JOBS BY CORPORATES

OFFLINE ENTRY OF JOB-ADVT BY CORPORATES

We have (in v. 1.3.0) already created an application whereby job-aduts can be entered offline by vendors and then emailed to us for uploading on our website.

This application & job-adut forms have been put on a CD, which is handed over to the vendors. I understand the application & forms, take-up 11 MB of memory.

Now, it is possible to give this CD to any Corporate for offline entry of their job-aduts & email to us.

Process is no different than when we give the CD to a vendor.

The difference comes here:

Whereas, we may have 2, 3 or 5 vendors (for offline entry), as far as Companies are concerned, we

may want to give this CD to 5000 Corporates!

This would be a VERY EXPENSIVE proposition!

And after sending the CD (through courier), if the Company does not use it or use it immediately, then the whole effort/cost is wasted!

Ideal solution would be to be able to email this entire application & webforms to those Corporates. That would cost nothing - so even if those Companies do not use it, nothing is lost! If a few hundred start using it, it is a big gain!

But Mustafa tells me, you cannot email a 11 mb file - just too big! (even after compressing?).

Next solution:

Can a "willing/desirous" Corporate "download" the entire "application &

webforms" from our website? I believe there are several "freewares"/"sharewares" of similar SIZE which people can - and do - download from hundreds of websites.

So this seems like a possible solution.

Q: Why should a Corporate download entire 11 mb application? Why not a few "kb" size of "job-adut forms" only?

Ans: A static form cannot have big drop-down lists of

  • Industry (220)
  • Functions (110)
  • Trades/Vocations (500)
  • Desig.

etc. etc.

This is what makes application huge.

Q: Can we allow Companies to free-text type "Ind/Function" etc.

And when they email to us, only filled-in job-aduts, we, at our end, go through & apply the correct codes, before uploading on website?

Such a feasibility should be seriously examined - even though, it is a compromise-solution and involves some human-intervention at our end, before uploading.

Q: If a Company has internet-connection (to be able to download an 11 mb file) then why should it not, directly post the job-adut - ONLINE in the first place?

Ans: Once it has posted just ONE job-adut, it gets a CORPORATE KEY, so that, it does not have to enter "static" info, again & again.

$\triangleright$ All factories/branches of a large Company may not have internet connections. We would send

the email (application & webform) to Central HQ/Chief of Personnel, with a request to put it on a CD & forward these CD's to all his factories/regional offices/branch offices.

These offices can then enter their respective job-aduts in the "web-forms" & forward (email?) these web-forms to Central Office for CONSOLIDATION (after check/review/approval/authorisation) before emailing entire file to 3P.

OR

After filling-in, the branches/regions/factories may take-out printouts (hard-copies) and snail-mail to HQ, who, in turn, forward to us. Ultimately, these job-adut forms may start circulating amongst other functional-managers also (production/materials/Sales/Marketing/Finance).

Our long-term goal is to make 3P job-adut. FORMS, to become, de facto

INDUSTRY STANDARD.

To become this, the FORMS, need to be circulated WIDELY!

We can have a huge list by scanning job advts from newspapers & posting on our website (through vendors). This will impress "prospective" advertisers!

BIRD'S EYE VIEW

There are 3 main forms in website viz:

a) Resume

b) Job Adut

c) Shopping Basket

But for each, there are many "variables". These are shown in enclosed "BIRD'S-EYE-VIEW" MATRIX.

With so many variables, it is impossible to construct a multi-dimensional object.

But depending upon a Viewer's interest, it should be possible to

$\triangleright$ Then drill-down for detailed-analysis by clicking on "values" displayed in each cell.

I have made such a "first attempt" in enclosed pages. I am sure you should be able to improve upon this.

As far as our different type of partners are concerned, the statistics which we are currently making available to them, seem satisfactory (at least for the moment). No partner has asked any more details so far.

While we are developing these "Bird's Eye Views", we should also figure-out, as a by-product of this system, the

MONTHLY INCENTIVES PAYABLE To ANY PROGRAM MANAGER

(Today, we have only Robin & Sanjeev). In course of time, we will have many more Program Managers - as no. of programs increase.

One program-manager may also handle more than one program.

Part A

No. of "Partners" signed-up in a month.

$\mathcal{C}$ Definition of "Sign-up" & Amount (of incentive) per sign-up should be made variable.

This is Rs. 1/= for every resume received from that partner during the course of the month.

Obviously, in the first month this will have to be more than 10 resumes.

This feature will be very useful once we subcontract data-entry of "print-media" job-advts & start uploading by hundreds per day. We must also introduce Posting "City Wise" dropdown as well. Like monster.com (and many other websites), we can have a MAP OF INDIA showing STATES. Clicking on any state, will show all info. from that state $\dots$
