One more membership directory is received as enclosed. Earlier, some 6/7 have been received. Another 4/5 are expected. All of these will be kept in library pl. feel free to refer & return by evening.

Those which are on a CD (eg. NASS COM) shall be kept with sajida. Kanshik consults these for giving " Industry Names" to the Annual Reports (Employee - data) before handling over to Sajida.

Sheetal uses these to enter into RED - FILE, Company Name - Product – Industry. When this project covers some 5000 Companies, we shall enter this data in our database. Once done, it will help us to carry - out online "searches" as shown in enclosed page.

This would facilitate Head - hunting.

Note

(1) Same company - name may appear in different "directories" (i.e. sources).

This could be because

. A company belongs to more than one "industry" and therefore belongs to more than one Trade - body / Professional  body.

. A company has many branch/ regional offices/ plant locations.

. A company could have, both "products" and "services"

. For same "industry", different directories are giving different "Industry - Names"
